Redken Clean Brew

This shampoo smells fantastic. That's really all there is to say about it. It's got a lot of little gimmicks written all over it's cleverly designed beer bottle shape. It claims to contain "anti-grit technology", a phrase that means nothing to me since I don't find my hair full of grit on a regular basis. It also contains brewer's yeast and malt, two things that, as far as I know, have no real cleansing properties whatsoever. Basically, this is a hair care company attempting to capitalize on the craft brew craze. Luckily for them, it doesn't make you smell like you've been on a bender. It's got a fairly strong, musky scent but it's by no means overpowering. If you're a sandy-haired surfer who likes indie brews, or just someone who wants hair smelling good and strongly enough that they don't need cologne, Redken Clean Brew is the shampoo for you.
